Three grandchildren Vincent {Tayla} Vaia of Worthington Springs, Florida, Bethany {Brandon} McConnell of Newcomerstown, Ohio and Dylan Blanton of Cape Coral, Florida.
Four Great Grandchildren Ahleah Roberts and Aiden Vaia, Caiden, and Addilyn McConnell.
A loyal pet [cat] Simon.
Robert graduated from Bellaire High school in 1968. He studied under the famous artist, Norman Rockwell, as a Portrait Artist. He was medically discharged from United States Navy after two tours in Vietnam. Throughout his life he was willing to do a variety of jobs to support his family, such as: a photographer for Olan Mills in Youngstown, Ohio; a custodian for Bellaire city schools; employed by Sears as an installer; a limousine driver for Whitesides Auto of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and a distributor with Snack Brothers Dan Dee of Brilliant, Ohio; along with various Home Improvement jobs while self-employed. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and drawing.
His greatest joy came from sharing his knowledge of our loving creator, Jehovah God, with all whom he met. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 30th, 1975. For 48 years Robert loved to share his Bible-based hope for the future, a time when suffering and death will be no more. He firmly believed in the Bible’s promise at Revelation 21:3,4 where it states that God will bring an end to tears, pain and even death. And Jesus’ guarantee at John 5:28,29 that says, in part, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out….” His beloved family and friends long for that day when they will be reunited with him, right here, in a Paradise earth!
Robert McFadden Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 53025 High Ridge Rd. St Clairsville, Ohio 43950, Sunday December 3 at 2:00 PM or can be streamed on Zoom.
