Funeral Services Cancelled due to inclement weather!

 

 

ZANESVILLE

Robert S. “Bob” Tubbs, 78, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his residence. He was born October 28, 1943, in Zanesville to the late Samuel and Melita Tumblin Tubbs. He was employed as a field service mechanic for Ohio CAT and later was self-employed as a welder working with line boring. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post #29 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #302. He served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.

He is survived by his long-time companion Linda Thwaits; a son Robert S. Tubbs II; daughter Lori (Mark) McClellan; a brother Frank Tubbs; four sisters: Judy (Danny) Hoffer, Shirley Cohen, Cheryl Northrup and Patricia (Willis) Thomas; six grandchildren: Sierra (Matt Bates) McClellan, Briar McClellan, Anthony McBride, Jakala (TJ) Young, Robert Tubbs III and Samantha Tubbs; and four great grandchildren: Jayla, Mackstyn “Mack”, Krue and Jericho.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Tubbs and a brother Ernie Tubbs.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Wednesday, February 2 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be at 11AM Thursday, February 3 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
