Robin McMillan

Robin E. Mcmillan

Robin E. McMillan, 64, of Roseville, Ohio died at 2:54am on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Genesis Healthcare System Emergency Department in Zanesville, Ohio.

Robin was born on July 4, 1961, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Roy E. McMillan and Linda Pletcher McMillan of New Lexington. He grew up in New Lexington, where he spent most of his life. Robin worked at Premix in Lancaster for more than 15 years before later joining Canal Winchester Schools.

Robin had a true passion for life’s thrills. He loved Mustangs and enjoyed the rush of No-Prep Racing. A proud supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes, he also found excitement in watching UFC fights. At home, you could always find him tuned into his favorite soap operas or sharing cooking shows with his wife, Penny—especially those hosted by Guy Fieri. He dreamed of traveling in his RV to visit the diners featured on the show. Though Robin faced many trials throughout his life, he met each challenge with resilience, always taking things in stride and making the best of every day.

Robin gave the gift of sight to two others thru organ donation, Lifeline of Ohio.

Robin is survived by his wife, Penny Rose McMillan; his mother, Linda McMillan; his children, Tiffany (Scott) Trivett and Brandon (Vanessa) McMillan; and his sister, Jackie McMillan. He was also blessed with 16 step-children, grandchildren Nathaniel (Kaitlyn) Watkins and Raylee Spohn, 2 great-grandchildren, and 29 step-grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff “Farmer” McMillan.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm on Friday, October 3, 2025 with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
