Roger Alan Goins

Roger Alan Goins, 63, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away at his home Friday, October 22, 2021. Roger was born January 16, 1958, to the late Patricia Belle (Gibson) and John Goins. In addition to his parents, Roger is also preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Goins; brother, Ricky Goins; nieces, Diane Butcher and Debbie Butcher; and grandson, Desmond Goins.

Roger leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved children, Correy (Tiffany) Goins, Andrew Ryan Goins and Brandi Harris; grandchildren, Kiaunna Goins, Kamarra Goins, Andon Tabler, Shanice Pennington and Antoine Pennington; siblings, Connie (Terry) Butcher and Mark Dalton; several nieces and nephews, including Etienne Norris, Ian Norris and India Goins; and a host of other family members and many friends.

Roger dedicated many years of employment to Burnham Foundry before retiring. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Roger frequented the Canteen Bar in Zanesville, where he had many friends. He will be greatly missed.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
