Rolland Beard Jr.

Rolland E. Beard Jr, 80, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away at 11am on Friday, December 1, 2023. He was born on Thursday, January 7, 1943, in Southeastern Ohio to Rolland E. and Norma (Harden) Beard. He graduated from Somerset High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Rolland Beard Jr. was a beloved husband, parent, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his long-term companion, Happy (his beloved cat); wife of 60 years, Gloria; children, Rolland Beard lll, Sandra (John) Fulk, Barbara Dusenberry; grandchildren, Meghan (Kodey) Kangas, Eric (Heidi) Finley, Dellanie Bennett, Elizabeth Fulk, Brittany Dusenberry, Brian Dusenberry Jr. and Brandi Beard; several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and grandson, Guy Bennett.
