Rollover Accident Sends A Man and A Woman to Hospital With Non Life Threatening Injuries

ZANESVILLE,Ohio– Crews have cleared the accident scene after a commercial vehicle collided with an SUV causing a roll over accident, that sent a female driver and a male passenger hospital with non life threatening injuries on I70 East near the 152 exit.

Ohio Highway State Patrol Trooper Rich Lanning said the accident occurred just after 6 p.m. Friday evening.

“There was a commercial vehicle in the right lane and a gray SUV in the left lane, the commercial vehicle swerved into the left lane causing the SUV to drive off the left side of the road into the median,” Lanning said. “They jerked back onto the road way and then started to flip at that point.”

Officials have not released the names of the man and woman. Lanning said the driver of the commercial vehicle has been cited with driving out of a mark line. Lanning said traffic was backed up for an hour. Traffic is now back to normal. Assisting on the scenes are Falls Township Fire Department and EMS.
