Ronald Bush

Ronald Bush, 80, passed away September 19, 2024, peacefully in Hospice Care at The Morrison House in Zanesville, OH. He was a resident of Frazeysburg for over 55 Years.

Ron was born November 29, 1943, in Whitman, West Virginia. He graduated from Logan High School in 1964 & served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He moved to Ohio, worked 28 years at Celestica (formerly Lucent Technologies). He was a devoted & faithful husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather. He coached biddy league ball for many years, receiving many trophies. He loved country music, traveling to West Virginia to visit family & high school reunions. He loved joking & making others laugh, attending grandchildren’s events & spending time at home.

Ron is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Raymond and Mira Bush (Mullins), siblings, Violet Bush (Sheppard), Donald Bush, Arlie Bush, Earl Bush, Joetta Smith, Susie Bush, and his nephew Nathan Bush, niece Cindy Bush and great niece Harley.

Ron is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene Bush. Two children, Todd K. Bush & Courtney D. Weirich (Stefan Weirich), Grandchildren, Shaye B. Sunkle, Ason T. Sunkle (Maddi Hunter), Gunner Thorne Amos Bush. Great grandchildren, Jaelan Ronald Sunkle-Allen, Kaidan Lee Taylor Linton, and were anticipating the arrival of his first great granddaughter, Marley Mae Sunkle.

Memorial service will be held in Ron’s honor on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Watersedge Assembly of God, 2249 Cherry Valley Rd SE, Newark, OH 43055 at 12 p.m. Officiating Pastors, Rick Mason & Brent Heishman. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
