Ronald F. Scurlock (February 12, 1929 – August 20, 2013)

ZANESVILLE
Ronald F. Scurlock, 84 of Zanesville passed away Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 10:05am at his home. Ronald was born in Zanesville, February 12, 1929 to the late Richard and Ruth Fisher Scurlock. Ron had worked in road construction and surface mining for 55 years. He retired from R. F. Scurlock Company in 2003 as a Project Superintendent. He was a member of the Local 18 Operating Engineers, Masonic Lodge of Dresden 103 and The Muskingum County Country Music Hall of Fame. He was a Baptist by faith.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife Geraldine Chambers Scurlock of the home, a son Ronald (Betsy) Scurlock Jr. of Dresden, a daughter, Dianna Rouan of Nashport, 3 grandchildren Kyle (Stacy) Scurlock of Dresden, Kendra (Lance Patton) Scurlock of Dresden and Jenna (Kurt) Fell of Nashport, Three great- grandchildren: Allison Marie Scurlock, Colton James Scurlock, and Cody Edward Fell. Brothers Richard (Judy) of Florida and Kenneth (Jeanie) of California, sisters Myrtle (Jack) Haines of Waverly, Karen (Marschall) Stevens of California, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Calling Hours will be 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday August 23 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Andy Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
