Ronald L. Gaumer

Ronald L. Gaumer, 86, of Zanesville, died at 12:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  He was born January 23, 1936, in Zanesville, a son of the late Fred and Edith P. (Gibson) Gaumer. Ron owned and operated his own business, Gaumer’s Carryout, before working twenty years for Krogers. He was a commercial pilot, and loved planes, sailboats and three wheelers. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the FOPA. Ron enjoyed motorcross, hunting, fishing and camping.

Surviving are his son, Eric (Kammy) Gaumer and his legacy will live on with his one and only and his pride and joy grandson, Steele O’Brien Gaumer also surviving are a special sister-in-law and brother –in-law, Janet and Mike Watton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Judith A. “Judy” Schaumleffel Gaumer, who died December 24, 2010.

An inurnment will take place at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Zanesville.
