Ronald L. ”Ron” Moore

Ronald L. ”Ron” Moore, age 81, of Zanesville, died 5:00 AM, Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Beckett House at New Concord.

He was born Friday, September 1, 1939, in Zanesville, the son of John B. Moore and Edna(Smith)Moore.

Ron was a former employee of The Longaberger Company where he retired following several years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles.

Ron is survived by his longtime companion: Josephine C. ”Josie” Petush of Zanesville; three children: Mike Moore, Denise Moore, and Mary Beth Landals all of Barberton; four stepchildren: Cherlyn McKee of Brooksville, PA, Carolyn Vincent of Mineral Wells, WV, Kimberly Haase of Parkersburg, WV, and Mike (Monique) Cameron of Vincent; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara (Dan) Lucien of Cuyahoga Falls, and Shirley Juhasz of Norton, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by four brothers: Gene Moore, Jerry Moore, Bob Moore and John Moore, Jr.; one sister: JoAnn Trew and one stepson-in-law: Larry Haase.

Friends may call from 11AM until the service time of 1PM, on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville with Rev. Dustin Tolbert. Burial will conclude in the St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
