Ronald L. Webb

Ronald Lee “Webby” Webb, 74, of Philo, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at Altercare in Zanesville.
Ron was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 5, 1952, and was raised in Morgan County, where he spent his younger years playing in the creek on the family farm and enjoying the simple pleasures of country life. He was the son of the late George and Wilma Webb.
Ron worked most of his life as a mechanic, working for Tansky Honda, Kane Pontiac, and Balderson Dodge. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and old westerns, and played guitar in several area country music bands. Ron never met a stranger; he was a friend to all and was always willing to help with anything from building a deck to repairing a car. Ron also loved spending as much time as possible with their grandchildren or quiet evenings watching the Food Network with his wife before her passing.
Ron is survived by his sons, Tim Webb, Ronald Lee Webb Jr., and Cody (Adrian) Webb; his cherished grandchildren, McKenna, Kylie, Gavin, Lucy, and Lincoln; his sisters, Bonnie and Connie; as well as several nieces, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Julie Webb, who passed away on February 14, 2025; and his brothers, Johnny Webb and Donnie Webb.
In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and a celebration of Ron’s life will be announced at a later date. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Webb family.
