Ronald Ray Collopy (March 23, 1950 – May 15, 2012)
Ronald Ray Collopy, 62, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born March 23, 1950, in Zanesville, a son of Bernard L. Sr. and Lillian Pyatt Collopy of Zanesville. He had worked as a truck driver for Greif Brothers. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and the Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Tumblin of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Meagan and Douglas West; five brothers, Daniel Collopy of Zanesville, Mike Collopy of Lima, OH, Stephen Collopy of Amanda, OH, Douglas Collopy of Zanesville and Gary Collopy of Zanesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Shultz Collopy, who died January 12, 2007; a brother, Bernard “Leo†Collopy; and a sister, Linda Jones.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon Saturday, May 19, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Ronald will be laid to rest next to his wife, Annette, at St. Ann’s Cemetery, in Philo.
