ROSEVILLE, Ohio – The National Weather Service has issued an additional 1-2 inches of rain for Perry County, including Crooksville and Roseville.

The Perry County Commissioners, Perry County EMA, and Roseville Fire Department advises all residents to evacuate immediately. The Perry County Fairgrounds Coliseum is open for those seeking shelter.

A levy along Moxahala Creek is in danger of failing, which would incur extreme flooding throughout the valley.

The Commissioners have declared Perry County under an official state of emergency.

Anyone needing assistance during this time should call 911.
