Roseville Neighborhood Revitalization Grant Meeting

ROSEVILLE, Ohio- The Village of Roseville held its first Neighborhood Revitalization Grant Community meeting Wednesday evening. The Community Development Staff at Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, the Perry County Commissioners, and the Village of Roseville are working together to secure a competitive grant for 16 new projects.

“That grant is worth $500,000,” said Village of Roseville Chief Fiscal Officer Heidi Milner. “Which is going to fund at least 5 different categories of the 16 projects that we are doing.”

Neighborhood Revitalization is a community base grant.

“Finding what projects the community wants, what’s at the top of their list, what’s at the bottom of their list. We then categorize those with the most important. This meeting is the same thing. They are going to do a survey that says these are the things that are important to me. So that this grant will correspond to what the community wants are and needs are. And correspond to what the Village Roseville will go after for funding,” said Milner.

A second meeting is slated for Wednesday, May 4th at 6 p.m. at the Village of Roseville Community Center.
