Russell Bagley

Russell Lee Bagley, 79, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Russell was born on February 4, 1946, to Orville and Laura Bagley. In addition to his parents, Russell is also proceeded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Bagley, Orville Bagley Jr., Clifford, Bagley, David, Bagley, Chester, Bagley, Howard, Bagley, and Robert Bagley; sisters, Laura, Wisecarver, Goldie, Paxton, and Dorothy McWhorter; stepdaughter’s, Betty Atkins, and Virginia Smith and stepson, Harold Spears.

Russell leaves the cherish his memory, his wife, Patricia Bagley; his children, Michelle Bagley, Tina Bagley, Russell Bagley Jr. and Jay Bagley; stepchildren, Delmar Spears, Rose Bryan, and Terry Spears; several grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Daisy (Randy Swartz) Spears; siblings, Venelia Tracey, Katherine (Jerry) Spears and Kenneth Bagley; a special pet dog, Baby; as well as several other friends and family.

Russell worked for many years at Mickey’s, where he enjoyed what he did. He also like to play the guitar and sing. Russell also was known by many for scrapping in his hometown. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Per Russell’s wishes cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
