Russell Franklin Taggart (March 29, 1928 – May 21, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
Russell Franklin Taggart, 87 of Zanesville went home to be with the Lord,Thursday May 21, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born March 29, 1928 in Zanesville a son of the late John Lysander and Martha James Taggart. He was retired from Armco Steel, was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and formerly attended Brighton Free Methodist Church, enjoyed fishing and racing go carts.
Russell is survived by his wife Carol Hittle Kullman Taggart; Children; Roxanne (Mike) Watts of Zanesville, Mark (Linda) Taggart of Zanesville, Tony (Roxie) Kullman of Columbus, Kandy (Harold) Close of Dover, OH, Kelly Barcus (Jim Claypool) of Frazeysburg, Krissy Green (Greg Bennett) of Adamsville and Wayne (Debbie) Anderson of Zanesville; one brother Ralph (Cora) Taggart of Hopewell; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by step-son Dale Anderson; granddaughters Kadance Prince, Fawn and Karen Anderson and one sister Ruth Ann (Jim) McMillen.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday May 26, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday May 27, 2015 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
