Ruth Forsythe

Ruth M. Forsythe, 70, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord on Monday December 29, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1955, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Furman and Rosalie (Honnold) Berry. Ruth was devoted to her Lord. She was active in jail ministry, volunteered at Christ’s Table and True Light Ministries. She fought a fearless battle with lung cancer.

Ruth is survived by her husband Eric Forsythe. Two sons Clint (Lindsay) Mohler and Ben (Danelle) Mohler. A step-daughter Meghan Forsythe. Grandchildren Hunter Mohler, Jacob (Kayla) Mohler, Saniyah Mohler, Austin Burns, and Luke McCormick. One great-granddaughter Harper Mohler. One brother Wallace (Karen) Berry. Two nephews Andrew and Douglas Berry. One niece Sabrina Wofter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Billie English and Kathy Berry. One brother Michael Berry. One granddaughter Haliegh Mohler. One niece Cindy Kay English.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday December 31, 2025 at New Hope Full Gospel Church 3550 East Pike Zanesville, Ohio 43701 where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Adam Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery. William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage is assisting the Forsythe family.
