Ruth L. Shaw (May 9, 1916 – May 24, 2012)

Ruth L. Shaw Age 96, died on May 24, 2012 at Brandywine Hall nursing home in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

She was born May 9, 1916 to the late Chester and Gertrude Hale Rowland, in Stockport, Ohio. Except for the last ten years Ruth was a lifelong resident of Zanesville, Ohio. She was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church in Zanesville.

Ruth was married to Owen B. Shaw on June 5, 1937. Mr. Shaw passed away in 1988. She was one of eleven children, all of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William L. and Patricia A. Shaw of Exton, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Susie Weiland of New Concord, Ohio, Steve Shaw of St. George, Utah, and Becky Bridges of Granville, Ohio. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. A graveside memorial service will be held, Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10 AM at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
