Sandra “Sandy” K. Moore, 80, of Byesville, passed away Wednesday (October 29, 2025) at her home.

She was born June 14, 1945 in Coshocton, daughter of the late Paul and Helen Mounts. She worked at the former March Electric for twenty-five years before retiring.

Sandy enjoyed reading and Diamond Art. She was a member of the Eagles, VFW, and the High Hill Sportsman Club. Sandy enjoyed being a “snow bird” to Florida for fourteen years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Earl Staneck Jr.; two husbands, Earl Staneck Sr. and Robert Moffett; two sisters, Ruth Duffee and Nancy Stokes; and four brothers, Jim, Dick, Billy, and Bud Mounts.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Terry “Redbone” Moore; two daughters, Audrey Myers of Marengo and Veronica (and Tracy) Catlin of Lore City; a stepdaughter, Sabrina (and Dave) Reno of Delaware; three stepsons, Jesse Moore (and Chuck) of North Carolina, David (and Amy) Moore of Cumberland, and Terry Moore (and the late Detin Moore) of Columbus; her doggie, Precious; eleven grandchildren, Jessie (and Joe) Rogers, Lisa Cunningham, Amanda (and Mitch) Wioskowski, Jenna (and Ervin) Raber, Krystal Myers, Mark Myers, Victoria Reno, Luke Reno, Kadreanna Reno, Garrett, and Gabrial; sixteen great-grandchildren, Andrew, Isaac, Dallas, Peyton, Leonna, Faith, Ryleigh, Colton, Ashley, Bailey, Chevie, Hans, Destiny, Micah, Kylee, and Mylee; a sister, Cathy (and Frank) Dilly of Coshocton; a brother, Larry Mounts of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday (November 2, 2025) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Additional visitation hours will be held Monday (November 3, 2025) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Sandy’s name to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation or to the Neurofibromatosis Midwest (NF Midwest) 473 Dunham Rd – Suite #3, St. Charles IL 60103.
