Santa Claus Preparing For Christmas

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Christmas may still be a couple weeks away, but Santa Claus is already in town.

He’s in the process of making his list and checking it twice at Zanesville’s Colony Square Mall. Santa Claus has been gearing up for his yearly trip around the world, and he gives us the inside scoop on what he does to prep for his big trek.

“You know it’s coming very fast,” Kris Kringle said. “The elves are in full production. The shelves are being taken down, all the gifts are being gift wrapped. We’re putting the names on the packages. We’ll be loading those very soon. The deer are exercising working out everyday. They are ready to go.”

Don’t worry boys and girls. Santa said it is never too late to make it on the good list. And if you forgot to tell Santa something that you wanted, he is still taking requests. So feel free to write Santa a letter, an email, or even call the Santa Hotline. And of course you can  visit during mall hours to see him in person.

“Should you happen to hear a sound, and it’s up on the roof. Pay no attention. It’s probably just the wind. No peeking,” Santa said.

For those wondering, Santa does have a favorite cookie it’s peanut butter and chocolate chip.
