Santa Comes To Town

Zanesville, Ohio- It’s that time of year again when children have the opportunity to embrace a special someone, leading into the holiday season.
Saturday morning, many from near and far gathered to welcome Santa to Colony Square Mall.
“Today is breakfast with Santa. We started at 8:00 this morning. It’s almost 10 now and we’ve still got a line. We are packed this morning! Then the parade is at 10,” said Santa.
Many of the children come out year after year, and some of them even have the opportunity to participate in the parade with Santa.
“It was really good and it’s been really good having a second time to be in the parade with Santa. Santa helps out with the sick kids at children’s hospital and it’s been a really good year this year. I really like it,” said Owen Chehurche.
For many families, coming to this holiday event has become quite the family tradition.
“Every year that we’ve been able to come here, we always bring the kids to get their picture with Santa. She always ends up crying, this year she didn’t and it was awesome! This is the boys second year,” said Dylan Wylard.
Santa will be at Colony Square Mall ready to meet children and take photographs until December, 24th.
