Sara P. Carr (June 15, 1920 – March 23, 2012)

ZANESVILLE
Sara P. Carr, 91 of Zanesville passed away March 23, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born June 15, 1920 in Union Twp. Morgan County OH, a daughter of the late Ellis B. and Elizabeth Humphrey Sands. She was a homemaker, volunteered for many years at Genesis Bethesda Hospital Campus in Zanesville and was past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Sara is survived by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Carr of Matthews, NC; two grandchildren Tanya King of Charlotte, NC and John Carr of Mason, OH; one brother Robert Sands of Glouster, OH and nephew Albert B. Sands of Westerville; six great grandchildren Jessica, Danielle, Lauryn, Preston, Lynsey and Sydney; several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Carr and son Gary Carr; brothers Donald, George, Cecil, and John; two sisters Elenor and Marjory.
