Scheduled Water Maintenance Work in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE–Crews with the City of Zanesville Water Division will be performing a controlled shut down and installing new water main valves this week.

The work will take place at Baker Street, Pine Street, Ohio Street and Bexley Street beginning at 11:00 PM Thursday May 29  until 7:00 AM Friday May 30.

Officials said the new water main valves will improve flow control in the distribution system and lessen future service disruptions.

Pine Street from Shelby to Indiana Street  will be closed during this work period and detours will be posted.

This work will cause a temporary disruption of water service to 73 Customers in the service area and those customers will receive a direct notification. Other customers in the vicinity may
experience reduced pressure and or some discoloration of their water.
