Schilling Sentenced

Muskingum Co.- A Zanesville man who authorities said ran a drug trafficking operation out of his house and shot a man was sentenced to prison for his crimes.
The Muskingum County Prosecutor said Nicholas Schilling was sentenced by Judge Kelly Cottrill to serve 22 years in prison. He also will pay $30,000 in fines and his firearms will be forfeited.
In July, Schilling was found guilty of multiple counts of felony possession and trafficking of a fentanyl-related compound, methamphetamine, and methylphenidate. He was also found guilty of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs and felonious assault involving the use of a firearm, for the shooting of Jeremiah Wilson.
