Scotties return to form after quarantine – Fink’s Full Court Press for January 23, 2021

DRESDEN, Ohio – For the Tri-Valley Scotties, January 5th probably seems like a decade ago.

It was the last time the Scotties took the court — a 57-46 win over Coshocton — before a mandatory quarantine period forced the team to miss over two weeks

In the time since the Scotties last took the court, Philo has been playing their best basketball. Even though the Electrics have yet to score their first victory of the season, they have come as close as possible to earning that win without the W being added to the win column.

In the past seven days, Philo has lost two games to shots scored with under four seconds remaining in overtime — first to Caldwell, then to Maysville. Friday night, the Electrics went toe-to-toe with a Ridgewood team sitting near the top of the Inter-Valley Conference.

With the Electrics playing their best ball of the year, and the Scotties possibly being rusty after over a two week break, could Saturday finally be the night that the Electrics get the job done?
