Scotty McCreery to Grace Secrest Auditorium Stage

A big name in country music is going to make a stop in Zanesville this February.

Season 10 American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery, will bring his unique country twang to Secrest auditorium Valentine’s Day weekend. As one of country music’s hottest new stars, McCreery has sold nearly three million albums since he burst onto the national music scene four years ago.

“We’ve brought a lot of classic artists through who have been around for a long time, and we love to do that, but we just wanted to bring someone a little more contemporary around, and once again we’re always trying to add something different, something that anybody would like to come enjoy,” said Operations Manager for Dusty Guitar Promotions, Sara Haren.

The concert will be at 8 p.m. on February 13, and ticket prices range from $39 to $59 per person. McCreery’s blended sound of contemporary and classic country has helped him change the face of country music. Haren said the show would make the perfect Valentine’s date for you and your sweetheart.

“It’s something perfect to bring your sweetheart to, go to a concert, or if you don’t have a sweetheart, it’s a nice little girls night out, so it’ll be a really good time,” Haren said.
