Under the Sea Event at the Zanesville Museum of Art

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Museum of Art and Beaux Arts Club hosted their Under the Sea For You and Me Adventure event.

More than fifty adults and kids participated in the event at the Museum. They event features photo booth, face painting, crafts, and refreshments all with their Under the Sea theme.

“It was twelve dollars for non-museum members, ten dollars for museum members. And we’re having an excellent turnout,” said Beaux Arts Club member, Peggy Gilchrist.

The proceeds from this event supports the Zanesville Museum of Art. Gilchrist also said events like this gets more people into the art museum.

“This is a great way to get locals to come and see the museum, and to get children interested in art at a young age. We have some wonderful activities and programs all throughout the year here at the art museum,” she said.

Next year’s theme choices are an artist, game, or space theme. The attendees from this event will have the opportunity to choose the theme for the upcoming year.
