Search for Elderly Man

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office wants residents to be on the look out for an elderly man.

The sheriff’s office said just before 1pm Monday they were called for a well-being check on 73-year-old Murel Parks Sr. in the 1600 block of Arthur Avenue. Deputies found he was not at his residence. His vehicle was found on North 6th Street.

Deputies searched the area and were unsuccessful in locating Mr. Parks. Officials said he was last seen on January 21. He’s believed to be wearing a brown Carhart Jacket. He’s described as being 5’11, 160lbs with red or auburn shoulder length hair. If anyone has any information contact the sheriff’s office at (740) 622-2411.
