Second Suspect Arraigned in Shooting

A second suspect is facing charges for the drive-by shooting of a Zanesville home.

28-year-old Zachary Crowthers pled not-guilty Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to a charge of complicity to discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.

Authorities believe Crowthers and 24-year-old Christopher Smith were responsible for the September 11th drive-by shooting at Felippa Holbert’s home at 2012 Ridge Avenue. Holbert says 19 bullets were shot into his home and one grazed a child.

Judge Kelly Cottrill continued his bond at $100,000. Crowthers remains in the Muskingum County Jail.
