Section Of Maysville Pike To Close

A well traveled stretch of road in Muskingum County will be closing for a brief time this week.

On Friday, August 28 at 8:00 p.m., a section of the Maysville Pike will be closed to traffic for repairs to the railroad bridge. The road will open again on Monday, August 31 at 8:00 a.m.. During the road closure, eastbound traffic will be re-routed to State Route 719 to State Route 60 to Maysville Pike. The westbound traffic will be detoured to Putnam Avenue, to Moxahala, to State Route 719 and finally to Maysville Pike. WHIZ will keep you updated on the repairs as things progress.
