NEW CONCORD, Ohio – In the days leading up to Ohio’s March 19th Primary Election many political candidates scramble to make one last positive impression  with the public.

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate and Matt Dolan visited New Concord today to participate in a roundtable discussion surrounding business issues.

“A visit to any area of the state is a priority because I’m going to learn from the residents here, from the business folks here about what’s happening in your county, in your city and how I can be of assistance as a U.S. Senator,” Dolan said. “It’s also a good opportunity for me to get my message out that I’m the one conservative in this race who has results. I’ve helped Ohio, I’ve reduced taxes, reduced regulations, took on schools to save women’s sports and things like that.”

Dolan believes that by building and expanding broadband internet, improving transportation infrastructure and utilizing an effective workforce program are keys to creating a climate of economic activity and prosperity.

“You make sure that we’re creating a climate for your businesses to succeed,” Dolan said. “That we reverse the Biden agenda and Sherrod Brown’s agenda and say ‘Look, oil and gas is an important part of our livelihoods, an important part of our economy and we need to open it up.’ We’re blessed here in Ohio. We can do it in a clean way. But it helps people’s livelihood and it helps our country be independent.”

Dolan will be facing off against fellow Republicans Frank Larose and Bernie Moreno on the March 19th, Primary Election ballot to earn the Republican nomination to run against incumbent, Democrat, Senator Sherrod Brown in November’s General Election.
