Seniors Beat Juniors 4-2

Down at Gant Municipal Stadium, the Seniors got the better of the Junior Pioneers, the final score 4-2. It would have been 2-0 if not for Senior rightfielder Bryce Bednarzyk. The third batter in the order knocked in the first two runs of the game with a shot to the left centerfield gap in the bottom of the fourth inning, but his misplay of a Cory Swope batted ball in the fifth allowed two runs to score for the Juniors. Senior pitcher Chase Phillips pitching a complete game, giving up zero earned runs.
