ZANESVILLE, OHIO- The Sertoma Annual Pancake Day is a day some people from Muskingum County look forward to every year, and it’s less than a month away.

For the 58th year, Sertoma is hosting its annual Pancake Day November 15th at Secrest Auditorium. Starting at 6:00 a.m. workers will begin serving pancakes to thousands of people.

“There’s months preparation. We have two chairmen, and they talk to all our vendors and get everything arranged so that we have enough food to serve at least 6,000 people,” said Mike Maniaci.

Sertoma president said Pancake Day serves as a time for them to catch up with people from around the community. He said this annual event brings people together and allows them to eat as much as they can.

“People have a great time. You see a lot of people that you don’t see for a while. They all come through the line. Sometimes at night, during dinner time, it’s really busy. It’s kind of hard to socialize with people, but you do get to see everybody and say hi,” said Mike Maniaci.

You can purchase tickets now. Tickets purchased in advance cost $7. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $8.
