Seth Grant

Seth A. Grant, 84 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Seth was born in Zanesville on October 4, 1939. He is the son of the late Frank E. and Marjorie (Morris) Grant. He retired from the Longaberger Corporation where he proudly took care of the landscaping around the homestead buildings and the corporate headquarters. He also worked for McGraw Edison for 26 years where he built transformers as well as 6 years for the Mosaic Tile Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing BINGO. He was a member of the Eagles #302 in Zanesville; The American Legion Post #29 in Zanesville and he proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves.

Seth is survived by his five children, Frank E. (Dee Bittner) Grant, Kevin A. (Amy) Grant, Bryan (Brandee) Grant, Tandy (Brian) Knox, and Michelle M. (JoJo) Patton; his 29 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Seth is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce M. Grant, who passed away December 18, 2010; a grandson, Shawn Michael Suthers; his sister including and Hazel Thomas; and his brothers, Herman, Frank, Roy, Bob, George, Vaughn, Richard, Charles, Lymon, Pete Grant; three ½ sisters and a ½ brother, Earl.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Farus Funeral Home, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held following visitations at 1 pm. Pastor Andy Young will officiate the service. Seth will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058 and the American Legion Post #29.
