Settlers eliminated from GLSCL tournament

The Licking County Settlers saw their season come to a close in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, dropping a 10-1 decision to the top-seeded Lima Locos in the second game of a three-game set. Lima won the first game, 4-3.
In state legion action, Coshocton dropped a close decision to Circleville, 6-5. The Cherokees rallied from a 4-0 deficit to take a 5-4 lead, but Circleville scored the final two runs, including a sacrific fly to win the game. Coshocton plays Sidney in the loser’s bracket of the tournament at 1 p.m. Friday.
