Seven Stolen Handguns Recovered

Coshocton County- The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office announced they have recovered seven handguns stolen from a Coshocton residence.
Authorities said they were called last Wednesday to a home in the 900 block of South 16th Street in reference to a burglary. It was determined that 7 handguns and ammunition were stolen from the residence.
On February 6th, The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Road Division recovered 1 of the 7 stolen handguns. During the course of this investigation, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Investigations Division recovered the six other handguns from 4 separate locations within the County of Coshocton. A total of 6 adult male suspects were taken into custody as a result of this investigation.
The suspects are all from Coshocton. 18-year-old Austin Freetage was charged with burglary, a third degree felony. 19-year-old Chase DeWitt, 20-year-old Hunter Darr, 23-year-old Hunter Markley, 18-year-old Garren McCracken and 18-year-old Dantae Norfleet were all charged with receiving stolen property.
More Charges are anticipated after the review from the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.
