Severe Weather Thursday

The threat for strong to severe storms will be higher Thursday across the region. The main threat will be damaging winds and heavy downpours. The tornado threat is low, but cannot be completely ruled out. Temperatures will warm into the low to mid 70s across the region.

Tonight showers and storms remain around the area. The potential for some to be strong to severe will continue. Temperatures will remain very warm once again, with lows near 60.

A cold front will begin to move through the region tomorrow morning. Showers and storms will be likely during the morning, but we will begin to dry out during the afternoon behind the front. Cooler air will be working in behind the front as well, as highs will struggle to reach the mid 60s Friday afternoon.

We are looking cooler and sunny this weekend. Temperatures will top off in the upper 50s on Saturday, but will warm into the mid 60s on Sunday. You may need the umbrella once again as we head back to work and school on Monday.

Have a Great Thursday!
