Shannon Farmer

Shannon Paul Farmer, 58, of Pleasant City, passed away Thursday (August 15, 2024) at his home.

He was born January 5, 1966 in Washington DC, son of June (Morrison) Becwar and the late Paul Farmer.

A graduate of Cambridge High School, Shannon was employed with Kimble for the past several years.

He enjoyed collecting silver, playing cards, and watching UFC fights & wrestling. He also enjoyed baseball and softball, as well as going to sporting events.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his former wife and the mother of his children, Sandra (Dennis) Farmer.

Shannon is survived by his mother, June Becwar; two sons, Cody (& Nicole) Farmer of Caldwell and Colby Farmer of Hamilton; three daughters, Brandi (& Jared) Schroeder of Carlisle, Brittany Farmer of Sarahsville, and Brooke Farmer of Carlisle; a brother, Brandon Harvey of New Jersey; a sister, Melanie (& Jason) Harvey of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Carson, Quentin, Kamden, Matthias, and Norah; a nephew, Bobby Brecht; and a niece, Anna Brecht.

Visitation will be held Sunday (August 18, 2024) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
