Sharing a Message
One man is sharing his mission with bikers across the area.
Pastor Z as he’s known is from California. While he might not look like your typical pastor, he did graduate from Bible College and then decided to take his message and the message of God to the edge of society, starting Biker’s for Christ and most recently Rushing Wind Church.
"You can’t put God in a box. A lot of people think of Christianity as very traditional, very ritualistic and we’re about just loving people. The real deal. Being a friend to everybody as Jesus was," explained Pastor Fred Zariczny.
This weekend Pastor Z and other speakers will take part in Bikerfest. The event in it’s ninth year brings in motorcyclists from Ohio and surrounding states.
"This is a great weekend for us because as a minister we’re able to share the word of God with the local bikers and hopefully bring them together to feed them the word of God. And again listen to some great music and listen to the speakers," said Rushing Wind Pastor Michael McGuire.
The event at Rushing Wind on the Eastpike s free and open to the everyone who’s interested in learning more about Biker’s for Christ or Rushing Wind. Pastor Z will speak Saturday evening.
