Sharon Lazar

Sharon Ann Lazar, 81 of Zanesville died late evening, Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born December 8, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of John Joseph Colopy and Betty Taylor Colopy.
Sharon was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, graduated from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing and was employed for many years at Good Samaritan Medical Center in the Labor & delivery Department. She later worked for many years as a surgical assistant with Neurology Associates in Zanesville. After Neurology Associates, Sharon then worked & retired from the Cambridge Workers Compensation Department. She enjoyed camping at Seneca Lake with her husband and family and was a great cook.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Martin Lazar; 3 sons, Steve (Crystal) Lazar, Mike Lazar and Jeff (Trish) Lazar; grandchildren, Nicholas, Isabelle, Keira, Quinn, Miranda, Logan, Jeff and Gabby; Siblings, John (Cathy) Colopy, Dennis (Debbie) Colopy, Jane (Tom) White, Marianna Hacker and Pat (Mel) Colopy. Sharon was preceded in death by Parents and a sister, Linda Elkins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home.
