Shawn Duch

Shawn David Duch, 54, of Senecaville, passed away on November 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a 1989 graduate of Meadowbrook High School and also graduated from MMI of Daytona FL.
Shawn was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He worked as a tube laser installer and mechanic and was known for his strong work ethic and ability to fix just about anything.
He lived an adventurous and full life, with a passion for bull riding, drag racing motorcycles, and riding his Harley. Shawn especially loved watching dirt track races and spending time with friends who shared his loved for engines and speed.
A master mechanic at heart, Shawn could bring anything back to life with his hands and ingenuity. One of Shawn’s greatest joys was celebrating Independence Day – he loved putting on a huge fireworks display every 4th of July, lighting up the night for family and friends to enjoy.
Shawn’s time with us was far too short, but his energy, humor, and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Donna Eagon; his paternal grandparents, John and Ella Duch; his aunts, Donna Duch and Maxine Eagon; and his cousin, Kelsie Bates.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Janet (nee Eagon) Duch; siblings, Andy (Stacy Yurina), Jill (Josh) Jones, Abby (Michael) Feldner, and Jenna (Tom) Williams; nieces and nephews, Amber, Alexis, AJ, Bracken, Xavier, Maximus, Ali, Aiden, Addisyn, Emma, Paityn, Wyatt, and Ruby; great-nieces and great-nephews, Daisey, Hazel, Greyson, Scarlet, and Sage; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Saturday (November 15, 2025) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville.
A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date.
