Sheridan ace commits to Marshall

Sheridan three-sport standout Dylan Dupler will play baseball at the collegiate level.
The rising senior has verbally committed to pitch for Division I Marshall University on a partial athletic scholarship.
Dupler also received interest from Ohio, Cincinnati and Xavier, but says Marshall was the only school to pull the trigger on a scholarship offer.
The southpaw says Thundering Herd pitching coach Josh Newman was instrumental in his recruitment. Newman and the Herd posted a 34-21 overall record last season and finished runner-up in Conference USA.
Dupler was a first-team all-MVL selection as a junior. He also earned all-MVL honors in football and basketball.
