Sheriff Lutz: Drug Bust on Shinnick Street

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two people are in custody after a drug bust. Lutz says his office received a complaint on Thursday about illegal drug activity and his narcotics detectives got a search warrant for 730 Shinnick Street. The Sheriff says detectives seized 60-thousand dollars in cash, 30 to 40 pounds of marijuana, THC candles, vape oils, hash, a money counting machine and drug paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about this incident should contact the sheriff’s office. Detectives were assisted by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office and the Zanesville Police Department, which are all part of the Central Ohio Drug Task Force.
