Columbus, OH- The Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association is demanding a fundraising site remove a listing for a suspect in the killing of a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The executive director of the BSSA, Robert Cornwell, has asked GOFundMe to remove the multiple postings for Rodney Hinton Jr. Hinton is currently charged with murdering Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Henderson.

Authorities believe Hinton deliberately struck Henderson with his vehicle as revenge for the death of Hinton’s son by police a day earlier. Hinton is charged with aggravated murder and is currently being held without bond.

Cornwell said that Hinton and his family should not benefit at the expense of a law enforcement officer that was doing the job he was hired to perform.

The BSSA represents all sheriffs in the state of Ohio as well as 3,000 deputies and 17,000 private citizens.
