Shirley Bauserman

Shirley E. Weaver Bauserman, age 70, passed away on January 19, 2026, at Cedar Hill Nursing Center. Shirley was born on October 28, 1955, to Harlan E. Weaver Sr. and Ellen J. Stillion Weaver. She lived a life defined by strength, love, and devotion to her family. Shirley was an amazing and hardworking single mother who dedicated her life to raising her sons and later took immense pride in being a grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Shawn (Jaime) Tilton and Chad (Tiffany) Tilton; and her cherished grandchildren, Alivia, Riley, Drew, Addilynn, and Emillie Tilton, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Harlan (Tok Yong) Weaver, as well as many dear friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Ellen Weaver; her sister, Donna Shearn; and her special dog, Misty Dawn, who held a very special place in her heart.
Shirley loved the ocean and the warmth of the sun, and she had a deep love for animals. She was known for her resilience and determination, having battled many illnesses throughout her life, most recently cancer. Despite these challenges, Shirley showed remarkable strength and perseverance. Her family often joked that she was the “Energizer Bunny,” as she refused to give up and just kept going—a testament to her fighting spirit and unwavering will.
The family would like to thank Cedar Hill Nursing Center and Genesis Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness provided to Shirley.
Shirley will be remembered as a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a loyal friend, and a woman whose strength and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
