Shooting Investigation in Zanesville

The Zanesville Police are investigating a shooting that took place around 3:50am on Tuesday.

Det. Sgt. Phil Michel said the shooting took place at 223 Adams Street when two male subjects entered the residence and shot a male subject.

Officers responded and performed life saving measures on the victim, who was transported to Genesis Healthcare. Sgt. Michel said he’s currently in surgery and his condition is unknown.

Detectives and officers are currently gathering evidence in this investigation. No suspect information is available at this time.
