ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The EAA Vintage Chapter 22 is hosting the Sixth Annual Fall Fly-in, Drive-in, Car Show.

For the first time ever, from Friday, September 28th to Sunday, September 30th, people get to ride on a B25 Bomber. Anthony Morozowsky, Vice President of the EAA Vintage Chapter 22, said it will be an unimaginable experience.

“It was used in World War II and it became famous with Jimmy Doolittle. He flew 11 of those off an aircraft carrier and bombed the island of Japan after Pearl Harbor. So it’s really a historical aircraft,” Morozowsky said.

There will be a model show going on as well, which will include cars and model engines. Admission is free and there will be a pancake, sausage and egg brunch available.

“I’m really surprised at young kids. They’re still fascinated with airplanes. In today’s age with cellphones and computers and stuff, it still amazes me that they’re interested in airplanes. So I think they might say “Hey, dad or mom, I’d sure like to go flying or get my pilot’s license.” So that’s what we’re all about,” Morozowsky said.

There is a fee if you want to ride the B25 Bomber, you can find out more information about that and the event by calling the EAA Vintage Chapter at (740) 954-0059 or going to their Facebook.
