Snider Enters Plea in Court

A New Lexington man pleads not guilty in connection to a 2013 vehicular homicide.

67-year-old John Snider also faces a charge of vehicular manslaughter.

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol said that around 5am on September 10, a concrete truck driven by Snider was traveling north on State Route 60, when he stopped to make a left turn onto Airy View Drive and turned in front of a motorcycle traveling south.

The Patrol said the rider of the cycle 40-year-old Chad Garey of Dresden was pronounced dead at the scene.

Judge Kelly Cottrill continued Snider’s bond, which was set and posted at $20,000.
