Snowy Weather Returns

Winter weather is making an appearance in Southeastern Ohio and that has Ohio Department of Transporation Crews busy trying to keep roads safe for travel.

In ODOT District 5, which includes Muskingum Couty, most counties reported less than an inch of snow as of 3a.m.

In Coshocton County thirteen road crews are out clearing roadways, while in Guernsey County seventeen crews have taken to the streets.

Licking and Muskingum County both ahve eighteen crews working.

Muskingum County’s ODOT District Manager Phil Valentine said to have a safe commute leave early, slow down and if you see a salt truck keep in mind they run at a slower than normal traffic speed so give them plenty of room and watch out for those plows.
