Sobriety Checkpoint Friday

The Highway Patrol says it’s planning a Sobriety Checkpoint in Perry County. Lancaster Post Lieutenant Shad Caplinger says it will happen Friday evening. The event is funded by federal grant dollars and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. State Troopers in Ohio have already arrested 17,000 O-V-I drivers this year. The location of the checkpoint will be announced Friday morning.
